34th Annual Competition and Show

Dear Carver / Show Participant,
This year the 2024 Competition & Show will again be a one day event on Saturday April 13, 2024 at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre, 265 Cannifton Road, Belleville, Ontario
Directions: From Hwy 401 take exit #544 and go south on Cannifton Road(Hwy 37). The Sports Centre is on the East side of Cannifton Rd just past the Petro-Can Gas Station.
We suggest that prospective competitors review the carving rules and regulations prior to entering the 2024 competition. QWCA is committed to maintaining our show as a mainly carving show and to keep it as one of the better Canadian Carving Competition/Show events.
Plans for a successful show must be made well in advance and we now ask prospective show participants, who wish table space on April 13,2024 to review the table rules and costs and download the table application (pdf file at the bottom of this page). Please complete the application form and mail it to Rob Therrien prior to March 20 , 2024. Space is limited and applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. All applications will be date stamped. Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified during March 2024.

My name is Derek Bland and I’m the VP of the Buckhorn Carving Club.
Can I scan and email you the completed table application form, also do we pay you for it and the entry fees extra when we arrive at the show?
Right now we need one table for sure but if the Bobcaygeaon Club join we will need one more for sure, I hope to have a head count late next week.

I am interested in getting a table at the show, basically for sitting purposes and perhaps do a little bit of carving. . is there a registration form that can be printed to have ready when we arrive at the show.
yes there is a form on the bottom of the table info page labeled table-rental-application it might be a good idea to contact Serge Moisan @ 613-478-5442 to see if we have any tabled left

Is there an entrance fee for those wanting to see the show?
there is no entry fee but we do have 3 door prizes we would like people to buy tickets on

It is never to late to join please stop in on Monday afternoon 1 to 4 or Thursday nights 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Interduce yourself and one of the executive can get you started. We meet at 516 Victoria Ave. It is the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Please use the door closes to Victoria Ave.
