CARVING SHOW April 15, 2023
To All our carving friends and clubs.
We are planning on a show April 15, 2023. We will be having the same Purchase Awards in 2023 as we were having for our show in 2020. We are also allowing any carvings that have been complete since our last show April 2019 to be be entered into the 2023 competition.
On behalf of the Quinte Woodcarvers club we hope everyone stays healthy and safe and we will see you in April.
Lisa Thompson
Vice President/Show Chair person
Quinte Woodcarvers Association
While not a carver myself, I have really enjoyed this show in the past and encourage everyone to attend. The inclusion of carver clubs from the edges of Quinte, (including Bobcaygeon and others) adds to the range of examples and show entries. The beautiful, extraordinary works on display by aspiring and world-class carvers are really amazing. I especially enjoy the wildlife carvings. Who knows, the show could even inspire spring and summer to get here more quickly ! This is a few hours well spent indeed – plan to attend with the whole family! Lyle Bunn, Brighton.
Has the date for the 2017 show been set?
the date is april 8 2017
In 2016 there were a number of Youth entry carvings. However, I did not see any pictures or mention of them in the 2016 winners. I think having them included with the rest of the winners would be a great encouragement.
